The introduction of faster wireless (802.11g) networking back in the early 2000s suddenly offered hardware OEMs new product opportunities for home and home office streaming. With a lovely corporate campaign concept by designer Fernando Travieso, client SMC Networks asked me to craft the supporting copy for their 2005 pan-Euro advertising campaign. We needed to carry this bold, confident ‘who are you?’ brand idea into the sales presentation of the different product lines. With punchy, very benefit-driven platforms, each ad cuts through the technical jargon to focus firmly on compelling reasons to choose, buy and enjoy.
